Tell Congress: Give us a better marjiuana policy!

The Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act (HR 2835) would protect patients and providers in states where medical marijuana is legal.

Despite ample evidence that marijuana is effective medicine for a wide range of conditions, it remains illegal and out of reach for suffering patients. Even in states where voters have approved medical marijuana, the federal government has stepped in to prosecute patients and their providers.

The Personal Use of Marijuana by Responsible Adults Act of 2009 (HR 2943) would eliminate federal criminal penalties for the possession of small amounts of marijuana.

Tell your Members of Congress that you support these basic steps toward a sensible marijuana policy.
